为了加强中国优秀诗歌的对外翻译与国际化推广,进一步繁荣国际诗歌的多语种创作，推动中西方诗人优秀诗歌的互译、互动、传播、研究与交流，为中国诗人和世界诗人搭建良好的世界诗歌交流桥梁，同时向全世界展现伟大的中国诗歌艺术，诗人、翻译家苏菲、苏菲国际翻译出版社、苏菲国际出版传媒、《苏菲诗歌&翻译》（英汉）纸质世界诗刊社决定联合编辑出版《苏菲世界诗歌翻译书库》英汉对照系列书籍。翻译、编选融汇中外优秀诗人诗作的世界性诗歌年鉴，自然就是《苏菲世界诗歌翻译书库》的首选，它能快速“让中国诗人走向世界，让世界诗人走进中国”，直接推动中外诗歌的国际交流、翻译研究与发展，因此我们决定，计划自2021年开始每年编辑、出版《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》（汉英对照）一卷。本书由诗歌翻译家苏菲翻译完成。国内，纸质书由苏菲国际翻译出版社香港出版；海外，纸质版和电子版在亚马逊美国英文网发行。

《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴》翻译出版计划从2021年在全球公开发布征稿启事，付诸实施以来，在全球引起广大多语种诗人和读者广泛的响应和关注。特别是海外各国各族诗人和人民的积极肯定。

首先是，《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版，于2022年7月成功印制出版。本书纸质书已由苏菲国际翻译出版社香港出版；海外纸质版和电子版在亚马逊美国英文网发行15个国家，这15个国家都有直接的购买链接。其次是，《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版印制出版后，在中国广州成功举办新书发布会，受到了来自北京、上海、江西、陕西、湖北、湖南、河南、新疆、广东、广州、深圳等近40几位诗人的现场支持。特别备注：当时海南、深圳，中国其它好多地方没解封，国门还关得紧紧的，老外根本没法来中国。能来这些个入选诗人现场支持，简直就是奇迹了。正如上海诗人余志成所说，他“排除万难”从上海飞到广州苏菲这里，给苏菲捧场打气，因为他好担心大家都来不了，苏菲的发布会会冷场！多么让诗人暖心的话呀！

再次是，《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版受到海外各国各族诗人和人民的积极肯定。这里值得一提的是，本书副主编白俄罗斯诗人奥尔加·拉夫琴科，在白俄罗斯组织入选诗人举行了四五十位诗人的现场读诗活动，特让人感到欢欣鼓舞！

最后，最最令人感动的是，这本书受到意大利诗人、读者、领导的高度支持和赞许。2023年10月，苏菲、大藏应意大利塞内卡诗歌奖和帕纳苏斯诗歌奖之邀远赴意大利。在意大利塞内卡诗歌奖和帕纳苏斯诗歌奖颁奖现场，苏菲除了被授予意大利塞内卡诗歌奖和帕纳苏斯诗歌奖驻华大使之外；苏菲代表中国和中国诗人，也被获准在活动现场将2023苏菲世界诗歌奖 意-中文化友谊奖 和《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版，同台授予和递交给意大利诗人。大家可能不知道，好多时候，中西方文化差异是非常大的，你比如说西方人做事情比较喜欢给人惊喜，给你意想不到的惊喜。就好比我拿着这本书去了意大利，我心里也是没底的，也不知道大家喜不喜欢。正如在帕纳苏斯诗歌奖颁奖现场，西西里岛卡尼卡蒂剧院，在帕纳苏斯诗歌奖主办人卡洛杰罗·拉·维基亚教授的引荐下，当苏菲递给卡尼卡蒂市市长《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版时说：“我亲爱的市长，这是给你的! ” 他一开始有点困惑，当卡洛杰罗指着书的封面说:“这是国际的，63个国家!”他的眼睛突然亮了起来，好似哥伦布亲眼发现了一块新大陆……卡尼卡蒂市市长双手捧着《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2021卷》(汉英对照)纸质版，那眼神，苏菲一辈子都记忆犹新！我当时就感慨，意大利之所以是文艺复兴的发祥地，今天终于亲自见识了，从这位市长的眼神里见识了！眼睛是心灵的窗户，它最有发言权，那瞬间的眼神代表着一位普通读者(或者一位意大利政府官员）对诗歌、对诗人的尊重，不需要任何语言，一切语言都是多余的！

苏菲我本人作为本书的主编、汉译英和英译汉的译者，《苏菲译·世界诗歌年鉴2022卷》(汉英对照)纸质版。总字数：314810字；汉语诗人 186801字。外语诗人：128009字。来自75国，631位诗人，631首诗。国际诗人241人。中国诗人390人。大家不写小说或不做翻译，估计对文章字数不敏感。总字数：314810字，差不多相当于一部31万字的长篇小说。翻译量是巨大的，一部长篇小说，没有三年五年是翻译不出来的，更何况是诗歌。诗歌翻译难度是文学翻译里面最难驾驭的！当这块砖头巨书组稿-翻译-排版完成，即将送印刷厂印制之际，总算可以松口气，坐下来和大家谈谈心了！说真的，这本书说起来轻松，做起来难。好多事情理想和现实有差距。这里统一说下下这本书诗人们关心的征稿问题。

The translation and publication plan of Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook has be published globally in 2021, and since its action, it has attracted wide response and attention from multilingual poets and readers around the world. Especially the positive affirmation of poets and people of all nationalities in overseas countries.
First of all, the paper version of Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual) was successfully printed and published in July 2022. This book has been published by Sophy International Translation Publishing House in Hong Kong; Overseas paper and electronic versions are available in 15 countries on English Amazon USA, all of which have direct purchase links.
Secondly, after the paper edition of the Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual) was printed and published, the book launch party was successfully held in Guangzhou, China, and was supported by nearly 40 poets from Beijing, Shanghai, Jiangxi, Shaanxi, Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Xinjiang, Guangdong, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and other provinces. Special remarks: At that time, Hainan, Shenzhen and many other places in China had not been opened, and the city doors were still tightly closed, so foreigners could not come to China at all. It's a miracle to be supported by these selected poets. As Shanghai poet Yu Zhicheng said, he “overcame all difficulties” to fly from Shanghai to Guangzhou to meet Sophy here to support her, because he was so worried that everyone could not come and Sophy’s press conference would be cold! Thirdly, the paper edition of Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual) has been positively affirmed by poets and people of all nationalities in overseas countries. It is worth mentioning here that the deputy editor of the book, Belarusian poet Olga Ravchenko, organized the selected poets in Belarus to hold a live poetry reading activity of 40 to 50 poets, which is especially exciting!
Finally, and most touching of all, this book has been highly supported and praised by Italian poets, readers and leaders. In October 2023, Sophy Chen and DaZang Chen were invited to Italy by the Seneca Poetry Prize and the Parnaso Poetry Prize. At the ceremony of the Italian Seneca Poetry Prize and the Parnassus Poetry Prize, Sophy Chen was not only awarded the Ambassador to China of Italian Seneca Poetry Prize and the Parnassus Poetry Prize; On behalf of China and Chinese poets, Sophy Chen was also allowed to present the Cultural Friendship Awards Of Italy- China, 2023 SOPHY CHEN WORLD POETRY AWARDS and the paper edition of the Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual) to the Italian poets on stage at the event. You may not know, most of the time, the difference between Chinese and Western culture is very big, you say, Westerners prefer to do things to surprise people, to give you unexpected surprises. Just like I took this book to Italy, I had no idea, and I did not know whether they like it or not. As in the Parnaso Poetry Award Ceremony, in Canicatti Theatre, under the introduction of professor Gero La Vecchia, the organizer of the Panasso Poetry Prize, when Sophy Chen handed the mayor of Canicatti, the paper version of the Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021 (C-E Bilingual) and said: “My mayor, this is for you!"He was a little bit puzzled at first, when Gero showed him the cover of book and said: this is international, 63 nations, his eyes were bright suddenly, as if he was found a new land in his own eyes... The selection of poems in the paper edition of the Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2022(C-E Bilingual) is more rigorous than that of the paper edition of the Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2021(C-E Bilingual). The artistic quality of poetry is significantly higher than that of the upper volume. We discarded the phenomenon that the volume 2021 accidentally mixed with a few empty slogan poetry works. The paper edition of Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2022(C-E Bilingual), the compilation of this world poetry yearbook, cannot be separated from the active cooperation of translators from various countries and languages. Because I only accept foreign poetry manuscripts in English, it’s impossible to translate the languages of 75 nations into English without the cooperation of translators of all languages. Sophy Chen, I, as the chief editor and translator of this book, Sophy Chen’s Translation World Poetry Yearbook 2022(C-E Bilingual). Total word count: 314810 words; Chinese poets 186,801 words. Foreign Language poets: 128009 words. 631 poets from 75 nations, 631 poems. There are 241 international poets. There are 390 Chinese poets. if you do not write novels or do not translate, I estimate that you’re not sensitive to the words of books. Total word count: 314,810 words, roughly equivalent to a long novel of 310,000 words. The amount of translation is huge, and even a novel cannot be translated without three or five years, let alone poetry. The difficulty of poetry translation is the most in literary translation! When this brick giant book is completed, translation and typesetting, and is about to be sent to the printing house for printing, I can finally breathe a sigh of relief and sit down to talk with you my poets!
To be honest, this book is easier said than done. There is a gap between ideal and reality in many things. Here I’ll talk about the problem of solicitation of poets.

Each poet is limited to submit 1 modern poem no more than 25 lines per volume (or 1 ancient poem no more than 4-8 sentences, or 3 haiku no more than 9 sentences), and is limited to original Chinese poetry works that have not been translated into English; Poet bio 30 words or less (requirements: pen name + birthplace + published poetry collections + poetry awards, etc.) Note: No content unrelated to poetry, no more than 2 associations); publication province, real name or pen name or publication name (and recipient name). The receiving address is clear to: “recipient + mobile phone number + province + city/county + district/town/township + street/village + house number”; ultra-high definition poet image 1, above waist (no full body photo, no hat, no black sunglasses). Professional photographer shot, send more than 4000 pixels of ultra-high definition original image. It is a world-class anthology of English-Chinese translation, so its compilation, translation, typesetting, printing, publication and distribution in 14 countries, all of which take time. The entire Publishing and Printing Period spans years. Volume 2022 will be printed at the end of 2023, volume 2023 at the end of 2024, volume 2024 at the end of 2025, and so on.
