Pentasi B世界2012年开始在加拿大不列颠哥伦比亚省成功举办了一系列国际诗歌节。2012年在美国加利福尼亚州洛杉矶；2013年在菲律宾；2014年土耳其；2016年意大利； 2016年非洲加纳；2017年印度海德拉巴Ramoji电影城；下一届Pentasi B世界诗歌节将于2019年在中国大陆举行，由Pentasi B世界杰出诗人和世界金色之声诗歌奖获奖者苏菲Sophy Chen赞助和主办。

值得注意的是，尽管当时的超级台风尤兰达来势凶猛，但来自吕宋岛、米沙鄢群岛、棉兰老岛、加拿大、印度和非洲的诗人、作家和艺术家们参加了非常成功的2014菲律宾世界Pentasi B音乐节。此外，媒体对尤兰达在国际上所做的压倒性媒体炒作并没有阻止Pentasi B国际会员和全球代表在尤兰达令人难以置信的猛烈袭击期间和之后给予诗歌节坚定的支持。这场超级台风致使成千上万的菲律宾人死亡。

Doc Penpen’s Pentasi B Poetry Collector’s Edition also gave birth to a non-profit international umbrella organization of currently more than 9,000 top-caliber poets from around the globe, namely, the Pentasi B World Friendship Poetry or also widely known as Pentasi B World.

Among the members of Pentasi B World are some of the founding leaders, movers and shakers of the literary world based in various countries, including Prof. Ernesto Kahan, president of Israeli Association of Writers – Spanish Branch, World Academy of Arts and Culture –USA, former Vice President of International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War (1985 Nobel Peace Prize), Vice President for Literature for Culture and Peace; Nobel Peace Prize nominees Ariadne Sawyer, Maria Miraglia and Muhammad Shanazar; India Highest Civilian Awardee (PADMA SHRI) Vishnu Pandya; India Poet Laureate Dr. Lanka Siva Rama Prasad; Canada Poet Laureates Candice James and Ashok K. Bharhava; Canada Lifetime Achievement Awardee Richard Doiron; India Lifetime Achievement Awardee for Epic Poetry Filipino poet in English Edwin Cordevilla; Lifetime Achievement Awardee for Literature Filipino poet in English Felix Fojas; Rabindranath Tagore Poetry Prize Awardees Swapna Behera, Janet Kvammen, Reshma Ramesh, Moinak Dutta, RajBabu Gandham, Malakshmi Borthakur, and Vinita Agrawal; Founder & Directors of Turkey’s most prestigious KIBATEK Literature Organization, Feyyaz Saglam and Leyla Isik; retired US Senator James Pasqual Bettio and former Ghana State Minister Abdul-Rashid H. Pentasi B World has successfully staged a series of international poetry festivals in British Columbia, Canada in 2012; Los Angeles, California, USA in 2012; Philippines in 2013; Turkey in 2014; Italy in 2016; Ghana, Africa in 2016; Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, India in 2017; and Morocco also in 2017. The next Pentasi B World Poetry Festival is slated in Mainland China in 2019 to be sponsored and hosted by Pentasi B World Featured Poet and World Golden Voice of Poetry Awardee, Sophy Chen.

It is worth noting that the highly successful 2014 Philippine World Pentasi B Festival was attended by poets, writers and artists from Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao, Canada, India and Africa despite the raging super-typhoon Yolanda at that time. Furthermore, the overwhelming media hype Yolanda made internationally, didn’t stop the other international members and delegates worldwide from giving their unwavering support to the poetry festival during and after Yolanda’s unbelievable onslaught that left thousands of Filipinos dead.

Like a rainbow amidst the tragedy, the 2014 Philippine World Pentasi B Festival rose like a covenant, as it reverberated with camaraderie, peace and hope for humanity. The festival was spearheaded by the National Library of the Philippines and held successfully at the Marble Hall of the National Museum in Manila.

About Translator Sophy Chen

Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” International Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xian Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and she began to translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E)and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E). PENTASI B World Featured Poet 2018(E-E) She translated and published six Chinese poetry collections into English, The Flower Swaying (2014) , The Tibetan Incense(2014), The Outlook of Life (2014), The Different Tunes (2014), The Body Forward (2015), and A Poetry Biography for White Snake (2015), etc. Her English original poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose, only 8 poems, published in Amazon in E-book.
