Morning Serenade

They say be positive and I want to
who will lament and temper the arrival of dawn.

Gray is the sky
pelting rain on the lonely road.

I am mostly not myself
in the expectant morning.

I take what is given
the smell of insecurity.

I breathe it in, gasping for oxygen
positivity is thin.

I am determined to fight
the mysterious outcome until known.

I wait patiently
until the gray sky invites the sunlight to shine.

I will leap and regale
in the ever widening pale glow of dawn.

清晨小夜曲

他们说要积极，我想积极
但谁会来悲叹、调和黎明的到来

天空灰蒙蒙的
倾盆大雨泼洒在寂寥的路上

在这个期许的清晨
很大程度上，我不属于我自己

我被迫吸入了
不安全气味

我要呼吸，我渴望氧气
积极性很弱薄

我决心抗争
直到预知的神秘结局

我耐心等待
直到灰蒙蒙的天空邀请阳光来照耀

我将雀跃、享受
日益黯淡的晨曦

Today is the Day

Could you feel
my bruised heart
tender rhythmic cold melody.

Do you know why
I reached out for your hand
as the first snowflakes buried my soul.

I am waiting to know
but there is no need to know
what is already known.

I have seen many blizzards
swirling across the sky but
you never failed to arrive as early spring dawn. 

今天，就是今天

你能感觉到吗
我受伤的心
温柔、有节奏的冷旋律

你知道为什么吗
我伸手触摸你的手
因为第一场雪花已经埋葬了我的灵魂

我在等待知道
但没有必要知道
我已经知道了

我曾见过很多暴风雪
在天空中旋转，但是
当早春，黎明到来的时候
你从来未曾失败过

Riding Alone

I am young no longer
except to those who are older.
I grew even older when diagnosed with cancer.
Body chemistry changes from light to yellow
to layers of dark
under chemotherapy regime
punctual pain.
I am reincarnated
as two thirds polluted toxins.
I don’t know how to live this life
I want to
at least today.
I don’t want to end with this ending.
Dawn leans in.
I ride into a dazzling world.
Alone in silence.

单独骑行

除了那些年长的人
我已经不再年轻
当被诊断患有癌症时，我变得越来越老了
身上的化学物质从浅色变为黄色
到一层层黑色
在化疗方案治疗下
按时疼痛
我已经转世为
三分之二污染毒素
我不知道如何度过此生
我想
至少是今天
我不想用这样的结局结束此生
黎明倾斜进来
我骑到一个令人眼花缭乱的世界
一个人沉默

About Ashok Bhargava
Ashok Bhargava, founder of the Writers International Network (W.I.N.), based in Vancouver Canada, is an inspirational poet, creative writer, public speaker, community activist, management consultant and energetic volunteer. His published poetry books: Mirror of Dreams, A Kernel of Truth, Skipping Stones and Lost in the Morning Calm among others. He got many awards such as World Poetry’s Ambassador Poet to Japan, Nepal and India, and Featured Poet on CBC and so on. Recently he was awarded the “Poets Without Borders Peace Award.”

阿诗欧克 K•巴嘎瓦是国际作家网（W.I.N.）创始人，总部设在加拿大温哥华。他是精神诗人、作家、公共演说家、社区活动家、管理顾问、精力充沛的志愿者。他出版的诗集有：《梦之镜》、《真理之核》、《跳过石头》、《清晨在平静中迷失》”等。 他荣获多个诗歌奖：日本世界诗歌大使、尼泊尔世界诗歌大使、印度世界诗歌大使、加拿大广播公司精选诗人等。最近他被授予“无国界和平诗人”。

苏菲（Sophy Chen），本名陈丽华，中国当代女诗人、翻译家。出生于陕西汉中略阳县；毕业于西安外国语大学英文学院。美国英语“传奇诗人”。 “苏菲诗歌&翻译网”、“苏菲诗歌&翻译”(英汉双语）国际杂志社、“苏菲国际翻译出版社”创建人。“苏菲英语讲坛”创办者兼主讲人。 1989年，开始汉语诗歌写作、2004年开始英语诗歌写作、2005年开始英汉双语诗歌翻译。 获2012年度“国际最佳翻译家奖”（评选语言英汉双语）。“中国当代诗歌奖”（2013—2014）翻译奖（评选语言英汉双语）。获2018年 PENTASI B 世界精神诗人奖和世界杰出诗人奖（评选语言英语）。PENTASI B世界诗歌联谊会行政管理。PENTASI B 中国•世界诗歌节2019 主办方、组织人、赞助人。PENTASI B 世界金色之声诗歌奖2019。

Translator Sophy Chen
Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Provinve, China, is the Chinese contemporary poetess, translator, and American English “Legendary Poet”. She is the founder of “Sophy Poetry & Translation Website”, “Sophy Poetry & Translation” International Magazine and “Sophy International Translation Publishing House” and the founder and leading lecturer of “Sophy English Forum”. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an Foreign Studies University in English Literature. She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and she began to translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005. She won the annual “International Best Translator” Award 2012(C-E)and the Chinese Contemporary Poetry (2013-2014) Translation Award(C-E). PENTASI B WORLD INSPIRATIONAL POET 2018 and World Featured Poet 2018(E-E). Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry. Host, Organizer & Sponsor of PENTASI B CHINA WORLD POETREE FESTIVAL 2019. PENTASI B WORLD GOLDEN VOICE POETRY 2019.
