Sprouting

I used to estimate our distance for a long time
I said it’s the distance between heaven and earth
You said it is the difference between Zhi and Chi
But two completely different world
Was hit by one or two words of you
With your eyebrows shaking, spring begins to sprout
From thin snow of the tip of the mountain
From a little goose yellow of the treetops
From a touch of warmth of the wind
From some gaps of ice

I’m afraid that you who died in the poem will be resurrected
I’m afraid that you who live in the poem have an evidence

I can speak freely

That day
When I met you
I could not distinguish with sadness and happiness
A dreamlike spring
Gorgeous and a little melancholy
In your world
I have gone through my life

The last winter and sad autumn were too late to clean up

Kaifeng City In June

There is no chrysanthemum in Kaifeng City in June
The petals bloom in the dense stitches of Song Embroidery
Ten fingers spring breeze can’t repair the wind and frost of Hunan Lotus
I am in June in south of Fujian and Quanzhou of Fujian
My inexplicable heart pains to Kaifeng in June
The snow dye the years red
Cold and sharp
Those plots that take risks for love and hate
In the bright moonlight on your forehead

My lover
I want to make a glass of poisonous wine for you
By stars, greenery, and evening breeze
What you have forgotten
The promise is moldy

Autumn falls from leaves
In the suffering of reincarnation
Whose rib I stole
In the silky night
Beyond the boundaries of the flesh
My heart wandering in the vast wilderness
Looking for the same trembling and lonely soul

If I have enough time as long as sky and earth
I will promise you three lives and death
I will spend my whole life preparing
In the stars or by the willow bridge
Plant a pond of water lilies or a leaf orchid boat
And take a lifetime to arrange
Plots of various encounters
Love at first sight or be enemy of each other
By the reincarnation of a live and a death, waiting for
The ferry you passed

I can think of nothing or everything
Enjoy a kind of loneliness that no one can understand
In loneliness, the snow sneaks into the heart and melts into tears
Because of sadness
There is a reason to be silent
I can think of nothing
Or ignore anything
Enjoy a lonely moonlight
Read the lonely books
Write the little poems
I can’t speak
And if
Anyone can understand my strange words
That’s a gift that sadness gives to me

ABOUT SOPHY CHEN

Sophy Chen, her name, Lihua and family name, Chen, born in Lueyang, Hanzhong, Shannxi Province, China, is the Chinese contemporary poet, translator, and American English Legendary Poet. She graduated from English Institute of Xi’an International Studies University in English Literature. She is the founder of Sophy Poetry & World Translation Website, Sophy Poetry & Translation(C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine and Sophy International Translation Publishing House, the president of Sophy Chen World Poetry Museum, the founder of Sophy Chen World Poetry Award. Sophy Chen is Admin Of PENTASI B World Friendship Poetry, a Member of the Translators Association of China, a Member of the World Nations Writers Union, Kazakhstan, and its Chairman’s Chinese Literaturre & Translation Consultant. Sophy Chen is appointed as a Honorary Membership of PABLO NERUDA ASSOCIAZIONE CULTURALE in 2019.
She began to write Chinese poetry in 1989 and English poetry in 2004, and translate Chinese Poetry into English poetry and English poetry into Chinese poetry in 2005.
In 2012 she won the annual International Best Translator Award issued by IPTRC. In the same year, she received the Legendary Poet Award from the famous international English poetry website (poetry.com). In 2014 she won the Chinese Contemporary Poetry Translation Award (2013-2014). In 2018 she won Pentasi B World Featured Poet and Pentasi B World Inspirational Poet; the International Icon of Literature of Mewadev Laurel Award in India; In 2019 she won Neruda Award of Italy; the Wrangal’s Golden Peacock Award, Pentasi B Pentasian Award, Pentasi B World Poet Laureate Award and Pentasi B World Golden Voice Poetry 2019.
She translated and published seven collections of Chinese poems into English: The Flower Swaying (2014) by Zhao Xingzhong; Tibetan Incense (2014) by ZiYing; The Outlook of Life (2014) by Yang Ruopeng; Different Tunes (2014) by Greensleeves; The Body Forward (2015) by the painter TanJun, A Poetry Biography for White Snake by Liao Shidie and I Find Your Beauty In The Taste Of Your Eyes by Chen Hui (Taste’s Eyes) (2019)
She published an English poetry collection, Sophy English Sonnets, Tuberose (2018). She translated, edited and published Poetry Selection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards (2019) and Sophy Poetry & Translation (C-E) World Poetry Paper Magazine. The Complete Poems Collection Of PENTASI B 2019 China World Poetry Festival & Sophy Chen World Poetry Awards（Volume 1-2）are editting.
